Cologne with its more than one million inhabitants is Germany´s fourth-largest city and the biggest city in the German Federal State of North Rhine-Westphalia, which is the most densely populated region in Europe.

Located on both sides of the Rhine-River and internationally known for its famous Cologne Cathedral and one of Europe´s oldest and largest universities, Cologne is definitely worth a visit.

Founded nearly 2000 years ago by the Romans, so called Colonia has grown to one of the most interesting cities in Europe. It is not only one of the most popular german cities, but is also a melting pot for the international culture, art and music scene. You can find more than 30 museums and hundreds of galleries, concert halls, clubs and event arenas in and around the city.

The venue (Essigfabrik)

One of the those venues, the Essigfabrik, will host the 13th edition of the Euroblast Festival; EUROBLAST FESTIVAL XIII in October 2017. This venue has a capacity around 1,300 people and is known for hosting events like the Impericon-Never-Say-Die-Tour. With its two stages, one in the main-room and one in a smaller room, we will be able to present to you the finest of the finest in Prog/Experimental/Djent and Tech Metal, as well as several other groundbreaking acts. This stage constellation gives us also the opportunity to provide you with a lot of workshops and projects to involve you as well.
