Cologne

Cologne with its more than one million inhabitants is Germany´s fourth-largest city and the biggest city in the German Federal State of North Rhine-Westphalia, which is the most densely populated region in Europe.

Located on both sides of the Rhine-River and internationally known for its famous Cologne Cathedral and one of Europe´s oldest and largest universities, Cologne is definitely worth a visit.

Founded nearly 2000 years ago by the Romans, so called Colonia has grown to one of the most interesting cities in Europe. It is not only one of the most popular german cities, but is also a melting pot for the international culture, art and music scene. You can find more than 30 museums and hundreds of galleries, concert halls, clubs and event arenas in and around the city.
